Write a 1 -2 paragraph proposal for your concentration. This will be counted as a Secondary grade.

Concentration Info:
• You must create 15- 20 pieces of artwork that utilizing the theme that you select (10 – 15 pieces for Art IV)
• These pieces must show a progression and discovery both thematically and technically.
• You must keep a daily WRITTEN log of your progress, discoveries, struggles, etc. – which will be done through your daily warms and closures
• The work selected for your final “concentration portfolio” should be your best work and show that
Things to Keep in Mind…
Choose Wisely!! Make sure that you select a topic that you find interesting because you will be spending A LOT of time investigating this topic!
Do not get hung up on grammar, spelling or finding the perfect way to articulate your idea – we will work on that later. I do not want that to inhibit you – I am more concerned with you coming up with a solid idea that you are happy with – if you are having trouble putting your ideas into words include a couple sketches ALONG with your paragraph – I will be sitting down with each of you in class next Wed. and Thurs. and we will discuss and make necessary adjustments.
Think of this as you would a scientific experiment/investigation – your will start off as a hypothesis and your idea may further develop through out your investigation – your work should show a process or maturity and discovery
